بیمارستان شاریته برلین
بیمارستان شاریته (در فرانسوی به معنی «خیریه») آلمان در کنار مجموعه هلیوس این کشور یکی از بزرگترین و برترین بیمارستان‌های آلمان و سراسر قاره اروپا است.
اول شدن در لیست برترین بیمارستان‌های آلمان برای شاریته یک امر تکراری است. سال ۲۰۲۰ هشتمین سال پیاپی بود که این مجموعه سرشناس آلمانی توسط مجله فوکوس به عنوان برترین بیمارستان سال آلمان شناخته شد.
در سطح قاره سبز نیز این بیمارستان فاخر توسط مجله نوزیکر رده در صدر لیست برترین بیمارستان‌های اروپا قرار گرفت. شاریته یکی از پرافتخارترین و باپیشینه‌ترین بیمارستان‌های جهان است.
اولین شعبه این بیمارستان در قرن ۱۹، در هنگام جنگ بین فرانسه و آلمان در پادشاهی پروس برای سربازان مجروح تاسیس شد و از این رو نام شاریته را به خود گرفت.
در طول تاریخ خود این بیمارستان میزبان بسیاری از برندگان آلمانی جایزه‌ها‌ی شیمی و پزشکی نوبل بوده است. امروزه این بیمارستان تنها بیمارستان خصوصی مورد حمایت وزارت بهداشت آلمان است. در طول همه‌گیری کرونا، این بیمارستان نه‌تنها در خط مقدم مبارزه آلمان با کرونا قرار داشت،بلکه در تمامی شاخص‌های دیگر مانند سرطان و دیگر بیماری‌های نیاز عملکرد سالیانه خود را حفظ کرده و حتی در میان اولین بیمارستان‌های آلمانی بود که در شعب خود به آزمایش مراحل اولیه واکسن فایزر پرداخت.
بیمارستان جنرال سنگاپور (SGH)
بیمارستان جنرال سنگاپور که بیشتر با عنوان اختصاری اس‌جی‌اچ شناخته می‌شود، ۲۰۰ سال پیش در سال ۱۸۲۱ میلادی تاسیس شده و قدیمی‌ترین بیمارستان سازمان‌یافته در جنوب شرق آسیاست.
این بیمارستان توسط فرماندار بریتانیایی سنگاپور برای سربازان این کشور احداث شد اما تاریخ مدرن آن، پس از چند بار بازسازی و جا‌به‌جایی در سال ۱۹۲۶ شروع می‌شود. این بیمارستان در طول تاریخ به عنوان پایه اصلی سلامت و درمان در کشور سنگاپور عمل کرده. برای مثال، در اوایل قرن ۲۰ هنگامی که واکسن بسیاری از بیماری‌های مهلک مانند آنفلونزای اسپانیای، طاعون سیاه و آبله با چند دهه تاخیر وارد مشرق زمین می‌شد، بیشتر این واکسن‌ها چند سال زودتر از همسایه‌های سنگاپور توسط این بیمارستان تامین می‌شد.
امروزه نیز این بیمارستان در کنار بیمارتسان بین‌المللی بورمونگراد از کشور تایلند به عنوان برترین بیمارستان‌های جنوب شرق آسیا شناخته می‌شوند و در رده‌بنده‌های این منطقه در سال‌های نختلف کمتر سالی وجود دارد که یکی از این دو بیمارستان در رده‌های یکم و دوم نباشد.
عملکرد این بیمارستان در طول همه‌گیری کرونا نیز مانند دیگر اعضای این لیست مثال‌زدنی بوده. بیش از ۷۵ درصد واکسن‌های کرونای تزریق شده کرونا در کشور سنگاپور در سال ۲۰۲۰ در این بیمارستان تزریق شد و میزان مرگ و میر ناشی از کرونا در این بیمارتسان نیز در شاخص بین‌المللی کمتر از ۷ در هزار بوده که یکی از بهترین رکوردها برای هر بیمارستانی در سطح جهان است. پیش‌بینی می‌شود قدرت این بیمارستان در گردشگری سلامت دوران پساکرونایی تا حد انحصار در سطح ملی نیز برسد.
