بدون توسعه زیرساخت‌ها، جذب گسترده گردشگران خارجی امکان‌پذیر نیست

اینکه انتظار داشته باشیم بدون توجه به توسعه زیرساخت گردشگری بتوانیم گردشگران خارجی زیادی را به کشور جذب کنیم، توقع منطقی نیست.
شاهد هستیم که در کنار بسیاری از اماکن گردشگری و تاریخی کشور، ساده‌ترین امکانات مثل دستشویی نیز وجود ندارد و در چنین شرایطی معلوم است که نمی‌توان به جذب گسترده گردشگران خارجی امیدوار بود.
واقعیت این است که اگر امکانات اولیه در اماکن گردشگری ایران وجود داشته باشد و برای توسعه زیرساخت‌های صنعت گردشگری نیز اقدام موثری انجام شود، جذب گسترده گردشگران خارجی دور از انتظار نیست، اما نمی‌توان وقتی بستر و زیرساخت‌ها را مهیا نکرده‌ایم، انتظار داشته باشیم که درآمدزایی ارزی قابل توجهی از طریق جذب گردشگر خارجی داشته باشیم.
در این شرایط ضروری است که در ابتدا به فکر توسعه زیرساخت گردشگری باشیم و در وهله بعد، تلاش کنیم که روی جذب گردشگران خارجی از کشورهایی که با فرهنگ ما قرابت بیشتری دارند، تمرکز کنیم. در این خصوص می‌توانیم روی جذب گسترده گردشگران خارجی از کشورهای همسایه بیشتر تمرکز کنیم، زیرا شباهت‌های فرهنگی زیادی با مردمان کشور ما دارند و در صورت توسعه زیرساخت‌های گردشگری، بسیاری از گردشگران خارجی از کشورهای همسایه برای سفر به ایران، تمایل بیشتری خواهند داشت.
اگر توسعه صنعت گردشگری اتفاق بیفتد، قطعا از وابستگی به درآمدهای نفتی رها خواهیم شد و توسعه اقتصادی بزرگی در کشور رخ خواهد داد. نباید از خاطر برد که حرکت در راستای اقتصاد مقاومتی نیز می‌تواند با توسعه صنعت گردشگری محقق شود. در این مسیر نیاز است که در مقام عمل، توسعه صنعت گردشگری در اولویت برنامه مسئولان قرار بگیرد و منابع مالی کافی نیز برای این فرآیند توسعه در نظر گرفته شود. علاوه بر ضرورت تخصیص منابع قابل توجه برای توسعه صنعت گردشگری، نیاز داریم که این منابع نیز به شکل علمی و منطقی مدیریت شود تا جاذبه‌های گردشگری ما از حداقل امکانات لازم برای پذیرش گردشگران برخوردار باشند.
می‌توان با برنامه‌ریزی و مدیریت بهتر در مسیری حرکت کرد که هم ارزش‌های دینی و ملی ما حفظ شود و هم گردشگر خارجی ضمن احترام به این ارزش‌ها بتواند از مواهب گردشگری کشور بهره ببرد. برای تحقق این موضوع به برنامه‌ریزی بلندمدت و همکاری همه نهادهای مرتبط در صنعت گردشگری نیاز داریم تا بتوانیم هم سطح با ظرفیت بالایی که در صنعت گردشگری داریم، به همان اندازه نیز بتوانیم از این صنعت سودآور، درآمدزایی چشمگیری داشته باشیم.
